Framed by a wide ivory main border of stylized tree and blossom motifs. Ivory-ground Turkmens are far scarcer than the usual red.

Colors run ivory-cream, indigo-navy, deep madder red, rust-orange, and olive — cooler and calmer than a standard Afghan, and far easier to layer into a light contemporary room. It suits a living room, bedroom, study, dining room, or entry, and works in modern, transitional, tribal, bohemian, and collected-traditional interiors.

Finely hand-knotted wool pile with full, even pile and crisp, high-contrast drawing. Excellent condition with minimal wear. Original multicolored kilim ends with ivory wool fringe and secured selvages. Measures 6'4" x 4'10" (76 in. x 58 in.). See less
