Antique English Royal Cauldon Transferware Gravy Boat
Royal Cauldon's 'Cromer' pattern carries that deep, inky cobalt blue that made transferware the everyday luxury of Victorian and Edwardian households. The scenic and floral print is detailed without being fussy, the kind of thing you notice more the longer you look at it.
Cauldon was a respected Staffordshire pottery, producing quality earthenware for both domestic and export markets at a time when British ceramics were setting the standard worldwide. The 'Cromer' pattern was part of that tradition, built for real tables and real use.
