The … Read more This surrealist-style painting depicts a vibrant, dreamlike landscape with a striking inverted reflection of melting, alien-like or organic forms. The scene is split horizontally by an intense sky-blue and a contrasting warm orange ground. The left side features a gradient waterfall cascading from a dark brown wall into the orange section. The central structures rise like dark, volcanic spires and drops, with a mirrored shadow below them in a vivid purple hue. A solitary cloud floating in the top right appears textured with a white and gray spray-paint effect. Painted on canvas acrylic or oil with a thin dark wood frame. There is no signature but there is some writing on the back (on tape) which I believe says Oakland and possibly '61.

Minor age/use wear to painting and frame. The frame does not lie perfectly flat against the wall, about 1/4" but not too noticeable.
