Carlsson, or "JOC Vetlanda" Sweden, c.1950s. This sculptural high-back easy chair embodies the refined organic modernism of the Scandinavian design movement with its dramatic architectural profile, subtly winged form, exposed teak arm supports, and tapered legs.

Professionally restored from top to bottom with new custom-sculpted foam and upholstered in premium JB Martin Nevada mohair velvet in “Mink,” a richly dimensional textile celebrated for its exceptional softness, depth, and understated luster. The warm mink tone enhances the natural character of the teak frame while emphasizing the chair’s elegant proportions and sculptural silhouette.

The result is a highly sophisticated and visually striking lounge chair with the presence of a bespoke Scandinavian gallery piece. The luxurious mohair upholstery gives the chair remarkable depth and material richness while remaining true to its original Swedish character.

The sculpted teak frame has been disassembled, inspected, refinished, and re-glued to ensure structural integrity and aesthetic preservation.
