This 1960s Broyhill Saga petite dining table shows how much presence the collection packed into its simplest forms. The walnut top has gently bowed edges that soften the rectangle into a subtle boat shape, a quiet detail that catches the eye once the table is in the room. Slender round tapered legs angle out slightly at each corner, giving the table the light, athletic stance that defines the Saga line.
The proportions are what make this table genuinely useful. Closed, it measures 50 inches wide and seats four comfortably in an apartment, breakfast nook, or smaller dining room. Drop in the single 12 inch leaf and it stretches to 62 inches to seat six for dinner.
