An exceptional pair of 1960s Mid-Century Modern storage cabinets designed by Jack Cartwright for Founders Furniture. Beautifully crafted in rich walnut, each cabinet features clean architectural lines accented by woven cane upper doors that add warmth and texture. The open center shelving provides the perfect space for displaying books and decorative objects, while the lower sections offer versatile concealed storage—one cabinet with four spacious dovetailed drawers and the other with a double-door cabinet and adjustable shelf. Condition:
Good vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use. The walnut frames retain a beautiful warm patina, and the woven cane panels are in very good condition. Minor surface scratches, light edge wear, and a few small veneer chips are present, including a small chip near one of the lower bases, as shown in the photos. The drawers slide smoothly, the cabinet doors operate properly, and both pieces are structurally sound and ready for use.
