Substantial console table from the Melrose Collection, designed in an English country or European farmhouse style. It features a long inset plank-style top with a molded border, a warm distressed wood finish, turned legs, and a full-length stretcher.
The deliberately aged surface, visible pegging, and hand-rubbed finish give it the appearance of an antique tavern or refectory table. Its narrow depth makes it well suited for an entry hall, behind a sofa, along a dining-room wall, or as a display table.
