My work explores gesture, atmosphere, and the emotional resonance of color and space. This painting moves between abstraction and remembered landscape, evoking filtered light, winding paths, and the experience of moving through a wooded place without describing any specific location.

Layers of green, aqua, pale yellow, and charcoal create a shifting sense of depth, while sweeping brushwork and drawn lines guide the eye through the composition. The painting balances structure and openness, inviting the viewer into a luminous, unfolding space.

This painting reflects the development of my visual language. I created a larger commissioned variation of this composition for the lobby of the Hilton BNA Nashville Airport Terminal Hotel, where it now hangs.
