An exceptional, complete 8-piece vintage dining suite manufactured in 1971 by the renowned Pennsylvania House and originally sold through the historic, high-end J.B. Van Sciver Company showrooms, featuring both the burned-in Pennsylvania House stamp and the J.B. Van Sciver retail badge, providing incredible documentation of its luxury heritage. Crafted from premium solid cherry with a warm, lustrous finish, this traditional Early American set perfectly balances heirloom-quality craftsmanship with everyday functional versatility.
The extension dining table features a clean, classic profile with an oval-to-rounded rectangle silhouette and beautifully tapered legs. It comes complete with three original expansion leaves, allowing the table to transform effortlessly from an intimate family setting to a grand holiday hosting layout.
The set includes six matching Duxbury / Fiddleback style Windsor chairs (two spacious host armchairs and four sleek side chairs). The chairs showcase traditional colonial wood-turning details on the legs and stretchers, a deeply comfortable carved saddle seat, and an elegant comb-back spindle configuration that contours gracefully to a wide, scrolled top rail. Structurally rock-solid, tight, and exceptionally well-maintained over its 50+ year history.
