The fitted interior provides organized storage for correspondence and writing accessories, while the lower cabinet opens to additional enclosed storage behind two paneled doors. Flanked by ebonized columns with ormolu capitals and accented by original ormolu escutcheons, the cabinet rests on turned bun feet.
