Stylish vintage diamond & fluted mother of pearl ring crafted in 19k yellow gold (circa 1980s).
Crafted in Portuguese 19k yellow gold, the ring features shimmering diamonds to the oval center, with luminous fluted mother of pearl set into the side shoulders. The band is great worn alone as a statement ring or stacked. The band has a lower domed profile and rises 5.5mm or 0.21 inches from the finger. The ring is very finely crafted in high karat gold.
The ring is in very good condition and was lightly cleaned and polished.
The piece was acquired on a recent trip to Portugal, one of Europe's most exciting destinations for discovering exceptional antique and vintage jewelry. Weight: 6.4 grams
Stones: 23 round brilliant cut diamonds total an estimated 0.23 carats (estimated at I-J color and VS2-I1 clarity). The side shoulders are set with tapered mother of pearl measuring 11mm x 6mm.
Size & Measurements: The ring is a size 6 1/2 (sizable). The band measures 10mm wide (0.39 inches), rising 5.5mm from the finger.
Metal & Hallmark: 19k yellow gold. The base of the ring is stamped with the Portuguese Deer head fineness mark for 19.2k gold, made in Porto, Portugal post 1985.
