Stunning and highly collectible vintage porcelain relish tray crafted by the renowned Gerold Porzellan in Bavaria, Western Germany. This unique piece features a whimsical mid-century modern stylized owl design, complete with two recessed compartments forming the owl's eyes and a functional central handle for easy serving.
The tray is made of crisp white glazed porcelain accented by brilliant, elegant gold gilt trimming along the scalloped edges. It is a versatile piece perfect for serving appetizers, relishes, candies, or utilizing as a decorative vanity trinket dish for jewelry.
Authenticity: Fully stamped on the reverse side with the official mid-century green/black Gerold Porzellan crest ("Gerold Porzellan Bavaria") and marked "Made in Western Germany", dating production between 1949 and 1990.
