Ranch oak is known for solid oak construction and attractive yet unique western style furniture. This is a heavy piece, the top hutch with shelfs does not attach to the lower cabinet rather it sits on top but is very stable due to it's weight and size. There are several dents/dings … moreVery nice overall condition and appears to have the original finish with good shine and look. There are several dents/dings on the surface wood with minor scratches and chips from normal use and wear. The top left side does have an old crack repair that does not draw attention due to the style of the carved oak wood finish, shown in the pictures. On the lower shelf of the left cabinet there is evidence of a little water damage and warp on the back right corner of the lower shelf, pictured. Very solid piece with solid oak construction. less
