A Chinoiserie style carved mirror featuring an elaborately sculpted pagoda crest flanked by a pair of finely detailed winged phoenix figures. The intricately carved frame is adorned with flowing foliate scrolls, shell motifs, and pierced ornamentation, all finished in an elegant painted white finish that highlights the exceptional craftsmanship. The mirror's tall, architectural silhouette is crowned by a whimsical pagoda canopy, while the gracefully scrolling frame and openwork detailing evoke the romantic interpretation of Eastern design that became popular in European decorative arts. The combination of bold carving and refined symmetry gives the piece an impressive presence.
