This light fixture is inspired by the "Temptation" model, created by Edgar Brandt in the mid-1920s. Considered today one of the iconic works of French Art Deco, this creation perfectly illustrates the era's fascination with nature, sublimated by the craftsmanship of the decorative arts.

Through this composition, Brandt reinterpreted the biblical theme of temptation in the form of a serpent protecting the light, transforming a light fixture into a narrative work. Introduced during the rise of Art Deco, the original model became one of the most sought-after lights in Brandt's oeuvre and is now considered one of the great icons of 20th-century decorative arts.

This silvered bronze version, with its white shade, gives it a surprisingly contemporary presence.
