A smart and very well made antique yew wood military campaign style chest of drawers. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1950’s.
The quality is superb, this is a lovely and useful size, being quite slim and tall. The yew wood has a gorgeous colour tone and patina, offset beautifully by the brass handles and brass fixtures. There is plenty of storage space in the seven drawers, this stands on a plinth base.
We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age. Just some minor wear remains here and there beneath the polish, commensurate for age.
