This elegant two-tier accent table showcases an intricate geometric composition created from multiple natural wood veneers, expertly arranged in concentric circular patterns that highlight the color, grain, and contrast of each wood species. Unlike the traditional floral marquetry commonly associated with Sorrento furniture, this contemporary geometric design offers a clean, architectural aesthetic that complements both modern and classic interiors.

The table features a deep, hand-polished high-gloss finish, sculpted burl wood legs, and a matching lower shelf with the same striking marquetry design. The top is signed "Mastellone Giuseppe," affirming its craftsmanship and origin.
Purchased new in Sorrento, Italy in 2015 through A. Gargiulo & Jannuzzi (GAJA S.r.l.), the table includes its original sales invoice and accompanying purchase documentation, providing documented provenance from its original purchase.

Beautifully crafted and visually distinctive, this piece functions equally well as a side table, lamp table, or decorative accent. It is an excellent example of contemporary Sorrento marquetry, combining traditional Italian intarsia techniques with a refined modern design.

Condition: Excellent overall. The table has been well cared for and presents beautifully. There are two small scratches in the clear coat finish that do not penetrate into the wood or marquetry. Aside from these minor cosmetic imperfections, the finish remains glossy and the piece is in excellent condition.
