A charming original 1973 oil on board depicting a lively street market in Lugano, Switzerland, painted by Cervi (Columbia Rossi). Richly colored façades in shades of ochre, rose, and terra cotta frame an animated marketplace beneath graceful arcades, capturing the warmth and atmosphere of a traditional European town. Executed with expressive brushwork and vibrant color, the painting retains its original period presentation in a painted wood frame with a wide blush-colored mat, making it a wonderful decorative piece for traditional, Mediterranean, or eclectic interiors. The reverse retains a typed label identifying the subject, artist, and date:
“Lugano, Switzerland, painted by Cervi (Columbia Rossi) 1973.”
