A pair of Italian wall sconces from the 1950s, each composed of an elongated opaline glass shade that narrows into a sculptural, vessel-like form. The glass rises from a blackened, patinated metal base with warm brass accents—an interplay of materials that feels both industrial and refined.
Unlit, the shades read as crisp and architectural; lit, they soften into a golden, atmospheric glow. Scaled for hallways, bedside, or an entryway, they bring presence without overpowering the room—quiet gestures that still hold the eye.
Condition: Good vintage condition with age-appropriate patina throughout. The blackened metal bases show surface wear and mottling consistent with oxidation and handling over time; brass elements display small marks and natural darkening. Scratches and wear to the glass shades near the holders. These sconces have been professionally rewired by our team of restorationists with new sockets. Accepts one E12 light bulb each.
