A French freestanding catchall in the manner of Maison Baguès from the 1950s, crafted in gilt bronze with a bamboo motif. The slender stem is articulated in naturalistic bamboo segments, rising from a tripod base to support a delicately scalloped glass dish.
The warm gilt finish lends a soft, time-earned patina, beautifully complementing the clarity of the glass insert. It functions equally well as a freestanding ashtray or petite catchall.
Condition: In great vintage condition overall, with minor surface wear and a soft patina to the gilt bronze elements appropriate for age and use.
