Willy Daro, born in Belgium in 1918, was known for his botanical and floral sculptural forms, as well as his integration of Brutalist style with luxurious natural materials such as fossils and minerals. He founded his factory, Les Nouveaux Ateliers Willy Daro, in Brussels in the early 1960s, where he created sophisticated furniture and decor until 1987.

Condition: Great vintage condition, with a rich patina to the brass base and minor surface scratches and scuffs. The custom round glass top is newly fabricated and not affixed to the base. See less
