The polished brass frame is shaped with twisted ribbon-like details at opposing corners. Set within the frame with a slight margin of negative space, the original bronze-smoked glass casts a softly moody reflection—atmospheric by day, dramatic by night.

Can be hung vertically or horizontally via discreet corner mounts. At over four feet wide, it’s striking above a console, flanking a fireplace, or anchoring a hallway.

Luciano Frigerio was an Italian designer, artist, and musician born in Desio, Lombardy. His father, Giovanni, established a small cabinet-making workshop in the town in 1889. Over the years, the workshop developed collaborations with renowned Italian architects and designers, including Franco Albini, Sergio Asti, and later Paolo Portoghesi.

Frigerio believed that architects could design furniture with the craftsmanship of cabinetmakers, rather than relying solely on mass industrial production. This philosophy eventually led the company to open ten showrooms in major Italian cities, including one on Via Montenapoleone in Milan.

Condition: Great condition, with mounting on all four corners for secure installation. No notable surface wear to the mirror glass. Some minor scuffs are present on the caps, consistent with age. See less
