An Italian hand-painted porcelain table lamp in the Capodimonte style, dating to the 1960s. The lamp features a classically proportioned porcelain base, delicately modeled and finished in a soft white glaze, with hand-painted panels of stylized figures and vessels rendered in rich jewel tones and fine black linework.
Completed with brass fittings and a newly tailored dark shade, the lamp casts a warm, balanced light that highlights the detail and depth of the painted decoration. Well suited to a bedside table, console, or as a pair flanking a mantel.
Sold and priced individually.
Condition: The porcelain is in great vintage condition, with a minor surface chip on one of the lamp legs. This lamp has been professionally rewired by our team of restorationists with a new socket, plug and switch, as well as a new lampshade. Accepts one E12 candelabra base light bulb.
