A 1950s Italian lacquered metal lantern pendant with a softly tapered silhouette. The ivory-toned frame descends from a twisted suspension chain, its warm, time-softened finish carrying a gentle patina developed over decades of use.
At the center, a wheel-cut glass shade features a crisp starburst motif etched into the surface, catching and refracting light with clarity. Slim vertical supports frame the glass, while subtle scalloped edges and small brass fasteners complete the composition.
When illuminated, the lantern emits a soft, diffused glow, the starburst pattern coming alive in quiet radiance. Ideal for an entryway, stairwell, or dining space.
Condition: In very good vintage condition. Areas of finish loss and scuffs to the lacquer, consistent with age and use. Gentle patina to the brass elements, and the glass is beautifully preserved. This pendant has been professionally rewired by our team of restorationists with a new socket and canopy. Accepts one E26 base light bulb.
