A ‘600P’ table lamp designed by Gino Sarfatti for Arteluce in 1966. Petite in scale, the lamp features a black lacquered metal body paired with a leather-wrapped base, subtly segmented and weighted with internal lead spheres to allow for controlled tilting and adjustment.
The swivel reflector directs light with precision, highlighting Sarfatti’s experimental approach to lighting. An enduring example of Italian mid-century lighting, well suited to a desk, console, or bedside table.
Condition: Very good vintage condition. The black lacquered metal shows light surface wear and marks consistent with age. The leather-wrapped base displays minor wear and patina throughout, with subtle creasing and surface marks. Swivel reflector functions as intended. This lamp has been professionally rewired by our team of restorationists with a new socket and plug. Accepts one E12 light bulb.
