The removable decorative top is centered by a finely rendered classical scene of Apollo driving his chariot, surrounded by dense scrolling foliage, mythical creatures, birds and neoclassical ornament. Delicate garlands continue around the apron and down the gracefully curved legs.
Lift and reverse the top to reveal an inlaid chess and checkerboard. Beneath that is a green felt playing surface suitable for cards or puzzles. The table opens once again to disclose its best surprise: an integrated roulette wheel surrounded by fitted gaming compartments and twin green roulette betting layouts that slide outward from beneath the frame.
When closed, it presents as a handsome Italian occasional or center table. Opened, it becomes an exceptionally clever home casino with several ways to play. Its compact 30-inch-square footprint makes it ideal for a library, den, game room or sophisticated cocktail corner.
