Inspired by 18th-century Chippendale and Georgian furniture, the console features a broad rectangular top with a molded, rhythmically scalloped edge above three paneled drawers. Each drawer retains its antiqued brass swing pull. The dramatically carved cabriole legs terminate in bold claw-and-ball feet, giving the table a wonderfully architectural presence.
The warm mahogany-toned surface displays Alfonso Marina’s characteristic hand-applied, intentionally aged finish, with rubbed edges, darkened markings and variations intended to suggest generations of use. The result has the character of an antique while offering the practicality and dependable construction of fine contemporary furniture.
At only approximately 16¼ inches deep, this is an especially useful console for an entry hall, dining room or behind a sofa. The three working drawers provide convenient storage without adding visual weight or requiring a large footprint. See less
