The specimen is not carved or polished it has a natural crystal sheen, with some original red clay soil still staining the surface. The natural slice is 16.54mm. in length, 11.73mm. width and
2.29mm. thick. The specimen is 2.649 grams making it an outstanding 13.245 carats. The stone originated from Yancey County North Carolina. A vast color palette, with the trapiche of burn orange and umbers, the yellow stretching out transitions to vibrant greens and blues. A trully spectacular and unique trapich sapphire specimen of excellent unpolished quality. See less
