The sleek … Read more Circa 1950 this blown decanter has very simple modern lines including a free-formed "3 leaf stem" applied foot. The sleek teardrop silhouette and deep emerald/forest hue are defining characteristics of Tiffin's famous Killarney Green line. The Base: The sculptural clear glass base is an "applied crystal foot". It is heavily stylized with a 4-toed arch design (sometimes referred to in mid-century glassmaking as an "Italian base"). This design creates a beautiful visual contrast against the saturated green upper body.The decanter without stopper is 9.4" (H) at the rim and 3" (W) at the Crystal foot. Condition is excellent without chips, cracks or staining. The Killarney color is a dark sea green or teal. While this was a cordial decanter, I would seriously repurpose this as a bud vase. See less
