This sale features a series of original works born from a fascination with the ornate and organic. Every seashell has been curated, delicate artisan crafted cherubs are a celebration of texture and form. These are not mere collected objects, they are handmade totems of a world where the sea meets the cathedral.

Created and signed by Joanne H. Foray with all thrifted and up cycled elements, including a large estate of shells rescued and incorporated into 60 pieces of art and decor. Artist would like to note the vintage shell collection includes some of the most strictly regulated shells in the country, many Queen Conch which are on the endangered species list and can no longer be farmed, and coral which is endangered, as well.

“The Angel’s Anchorage”

The vase base is treated with a 12 step paint process to make it look aged. The figure of an angel is nestled in pink sea glass and surrounded by Atlantic calico scallops, lion’s paw scallops and queen scallops, and a large tapestry turban. See less
