The octagonal spreading foot is painted with alternating panels of scrolling ruyi and vertical line motifs. The body is densely decorated with hand-painted floral sprays — chrysanthemums, daisy-like blooms and foliage — in cobalt blue on a white tin-glazed ground. The neck is painted with vertical leaf strokes, and the knop carries a repeating tulip and dot pattern. A scrolling foliate border frames the collar beneath the mouth. The base bears a maker's mark consistent with Delft production dating between 1877 and 1911. See less
