The body of the vase is a masterpiece of craftsmanship: crafted from vertically blown glass in shades of blue, light blue, and aquamarine on a transparent base. The wavy, flared upper rim is embellished with elegant, contrasting dark murrine hot-applied glass.

The work is supported by a refined and essential sculptural structure in gold-plated brass, which follows the sinuous lines of the glass, elongating it upwards. The vase features the original signature acid-etched into the glass surface ('Vistosi Murano').
