This finely executed hand-colored antique lithograph from Sweden depicts a striking Eurasian Hoopoe (Upupa epops), shown with its distinctive fan-shaped crest fully displayed. The bird's warm buff-orange plumage, elongated curved bill, and bold black-and-white wing markings are captured in meticulous detail. The lithograph retains its printed species identification beneath the image. It is presented in a gold gilt frame with wide cream matting.
