This decorative pair of antique hand-colored lithographs depict two birds of prey rendered with remarkable ornithological accuracy: a Peregrine Falcon (Falco peregrinus) perched on a rocky outcrop and an Osprey (Pandion haliaetus) standing on a branch. The lithographs retain the original species identifications printed beneath each image. They are presented in matching gilt frames with wide cream mats, enhancing their elegant presentation. These Swedish Ferdinand Von Wright hand-colored lithographs, circa 1920, make a beautiful pair of framed bird studies and a display of Nordic wildlife art. See less
