This specific label style was primarily used during the mid-to-late 20th century to designate authentic Swedish crystal.
The decanter is crafted using a classic Scandinavian “sommerso” or under-layer technique. It transitions elegantly from a rich, deep amethyst/burgundy base up into a smoky blue and clear glass neck.
The neck features a series of three applied clear glass rings. These rings were historically designed to provide a secure grip when pouring, but here they serve as a distinct Mid-Century Modern sculptural detail.
