Framed by a cursive "S"-and-hook minor border and a bold kotchak main band. Hand-knotted in lustrous wool with finer, busier drawing than a standard Bokhara.

Colors run deep wine and madder red, tomato, apricot-orange, ivory-cream, and brown-black — warm, high-contrast, and full of life. The long gallery format suits a hallway, living room, study, or bedside run, and layers into tribal, bohemian, eclectic, traditional, and mid-century interiors.

Hand-knotted wool pile on a wool foundation with full, even pile, a soft handle, and a warm aged patina. Good vintage condition with light, honest age character. Original wool fringe and secured selvages. Measures 7'8" x 4'1" (92 in. x 49 in.). See less
