This is a vintage watercolour painting 'Turkey'. An English, framed cityscape picture by FA Dolding, dating to the mid 20th century, circa 1970.
Charming town scene, likely set along the Aegean coast
Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order
Tastefully presented behind clear, bright glass
Dressed to the rear with mounting wire, for ease of hanging
Painting set within a white card border with a gilt finished frame
An archway over a thoroughfare sets the scene, with figural interest
The costume and architecture likely sets it within the Antalya or Izmir regions
Signed to the lower corner by the artist FA Dolding
This is an appealing vintage watercolour, presenting a coastal scene of Turkey with traditional architecture. A delightful painting, delivered ready to display.
