Most visible losses appear to be confined to the gilded and painted surface rather than the carved wood itself. There are a few small chips and minor irregularities consistent with age and prior installation, but the carved acanthus decoration remains largely intact and well defined. The backs show wear, old mounting marks, and attached metal hanging plates. Structurally substantial and presenting well overall. less
