This lamp is a 1980s collaboration piece designed by Mario Buatta for Frederick Cooper. The fixture features a cast bronze-finished sculptural bulldog base detailed with a bowler hat and cigar, mounted onto a finished hardwood block. The brass dual candlestick cluster retains its original labeled emerald green pleated lampshade. Authentic markings include a stamped "F. COOPER LAMPS" brass fitting and socket labels bearing the printed signature of Mario Buatta. Retains the original inline switch cord and felt. Beautiful condition - no structural damage to report - minor wear commensurate age. Tested and functional. Display, use ready piece.
