According to the previous owner, the table came from their grandparents’ ranch in New Mexico and dates to the 1950s or earlier.

Constructed from solid pine, the table features deeply carved geometric relief panels, stepped Pueblo Revival borders, a stylized radial medallion, and an adze-textured background that gives the surface a hand-hewn character. Additional details include decorative peg accents, a carved drawer front, brass drop hardware, and brass ball casters.

The design closely reflects the regional furniture traditions associated with New Mexico WPA-era workshops and the craftsmen who continued working in that vocabulary after the federal program ended. No maker’s mark or documentation has been found, so an official WPA attribution cannot be confirmed.

Its narrow proportions make it well suited as a lamp table, sofa-side table, bedside table, or sculptural accent piece.
