The item in the image is a vintage Chinese-style incense burner, crafted from bronze. These vessels are used in meditation and ritual practices to burn lose incense, cones. It is a tripod censer, meaning it stands on three legs, and features a lid topped with a seated Guardian Lion (Foo Dog/Shishi) resting its paw on a traditional brocade ball, which acts as handle. The lower section of the lid decorative openwork design of Chinese imperial dragons. The three support legs are stylized in the shape of curved elephant trunk. This Censer is in very good vintage condition with a lot of patina.
