A pair of antique French photo frames in the style of JH France, crafted from polished brass; dating from the first half of the 20th century, unmarked.
These are frames of the type typically used for wedding photographs—high-quality pieces featuring a classic Victorian design and traditional repoussé-style ornamentation of garlands and flowers.
They feature a decorative folding brass strut at the back. While the frames are not identical in size, they share the same decorative motif.
This set is in very good antique condition; the brass displays a beautiful patina developed over the years—please see the photos for details.
