A refined vintage Italian majolica centerpiece depicting a vibrant, hand-painted pyramid arrangement of assorted polychrome fruit, including grapes, pears, citrus … Read more A refined vintage Italian majolica centerpiece depicting a vibrant, hand-painted pyramid arrangement of assorted polychrome fruit, including grapes, pears, citrus fruits, and peaches, beautifully arranged on a perforated white ceramic basket. The glossy glaze lends the piece a brilliant, reflective finish, making it a perfect decorative element for sophisticated kitchens, dining rooms, or eclectic tables. Overall Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The glaze finish remains incredibly bright, clean, and glossy. Minor Imperfections: There is only a small, superficial glaze chip of approximately 2 mm at the tip of the central yellow fruit, barely noticeable and visible only upon close inspection. No structural cracks or previous restoration. Note on Markings: There is a probable inventory number on the lower edge, next to the Made in Italy mark. There is also a faded black ink stain on the underside of the basket, the remnant of an original heat-stamped inscription, which has naturally faded with cleaning over the decades.
