A 20th Century vibrant and highly decorative Murano art glass vase, dating to the late 20th century, of bulbous form with an expressive flared rim. The body is richly decorated with millefiori canes in vivid tones of red, yellow, white and blue, set within a warm yellow ground, creating a lively and eye-catching mosaic effect.
The surface is further enhanced by the organic distribution of the millefiori elements, each individually placed and fused into the glass, demonstrating the skill and artistry of Murano glassmakers. The rim is dramatically shaped and pulled outward in a petal-like form, adding movement and sculptural presence to the piece.
