This antique mirror exudes bohemian chic charm! Its frame is adorned with a carefully painted faux wood finish, reproducing the warm, deep grain of an exotic wood with reddish highlights—an old technique known as graining. At the corners, pretty stucco appliqués depict stylized roses accompanied by leafy scrolls. This is a charming and characterful Napoleon III-style mirror that would find its place in a home with a strong, distinctive character.
The mirror is antique and dates from the 1940s. It is made of wood and stucco. There are a few minor imperfections. The glass shows some signs of age, visible in the photos.
39cm x 32cm for the glass, 50cm x 43cm for the frame, 3cm thick.
