For your consideration, a vintage modernist brutalist articulated bone collar necklace.
It features a highly collectible Modernist anatomical architecture often inspired by a spinal cord or fishbone structure.
The necklace is fully articulated, meaning it is composed of interlocking, individually cast which papers to be aluminum bars or ridge-shaped panels that seamlessly move and contour around the neck.
This distinctive style is heavily associated with mid-century silversmithing hubs like Taxco, Mexico, and is frequently designed in the tradition of legendary master modernist designers such as Antonio Pineda or Nanna Ditzel. Unmarked, no stamp present from the maker.
Country and designer unknown.
