Carved from Kiaat or ‘Mukwa’ which is an excellent tone-wood also used for Marimbas.
Drum in fine condition for age and usage. Some minor splits in wood as a result of moister and usage. One has been professionally repaired and toned to luster. One chip on base of drum which adds to the provenance of its usage.
