A striking 1970s Mid-Century Modern desktop sailboat sculpture from the celebrated DeMott Collection, created by California artists John and Don DeMott.

This collectible piece features hand-fashioned, torch-cut metal sails with acid-treated, textured borders and thin wire rigging lines. Reflecting a moodier, industrial Brutalist aesthetic, the metal body showcases an authentic, deep vintage patina that highlights its mid-century character. The vessel is mounted on a heavy, rough-hewn natural onyx base with a beautifully polished top surface that reveals rich cream, amber, and gold mineral veining.

Condition Details: Excellent vintage condition with an intact structural form. The metal elements feature a gorgeous, authentic aged patina that beautifully emphasizes its rugged Brutalist design.
