Handmade American pine storage box dating to the first half of the 19th century. Constructed from wide pine boards with a lift-off lid and original interior cleats for a removable tray, now missing.
Originally used to store documents, linens, clothing, sewing supplies, or household items. Retains its original surface with wear, scratches, shrinkage, and other signs of age and use. Suitable for use as a storage box, coffee table accent, or decorative piece.
