A delightful set of four early 19th-century Directoire period cherrywood chairs.
This beautiful set is of superb quality and rests on fluted legs connected by wooden stretchers, which significantly enhances their sturdiness.
The openwork backs and flowing silhouette lend the set a great decorative elegance.
The chairs are upholstered in a beautiful red velvet. The upholstery is recent and does not need to be reupholstered.
In very good condition with a magnificent patina.
Seat height: 46 cm.
Note: The back of one chair needs to be reattached.
